Outside the Courthouse

Splenetic rage consumes
Contorted faces
Blindly

Revenge retribution
Lifts angry fists
In time

Other’s sad misfortune
Drawing them in
Frenzy

Distant deeds far removed
Behind double doors
Seem close

Bared teeth hissing
Hate in lazy
Contempt

Guilty turned out to be
An apposite
Verdict
